- How soon your mold comes back. The clock on production starts when your impression reaches us. Taking it the day the kit arrives is the simplest way to save time.
- How clear your impression is. A good mold shows a clear gum line and the shape of each tooth. One kit makes 2 impressions: 2 tries for a top-only or bottom-only grill, or 1 try for a top and bottom set. Our step-by-step impression guide walks you through it.
- How detailed your design is. A simple double cap moves quickly. Heavier stone setting, larger piece counts and intricate cutouts can take a little longer to finish by hand.

Ordering about 8 weeks ahead means that, in the rare case a refitting is needed, it happens before your big day instead of after it.

Can I get faster shipping on the finished grill?
Standard shipping is free within the U.S. with no minimum. If your finished grill is ready and you want it in hand sooner, the Priority or Express Shipping Upgrade sends finished pieces in 1 to 3 days to U.S. addresses. It speeds up the last leg only, so for a tight date the rush order is usually the better fit.

How long does it take once you have my impression? Production is 7 to 10 business days once your impression is received and verified. The full trip from order to delivery is 4 to 8 weeks.
Do I pay first or send my mold first? You place your order first. The impression kit ships with every custom grillz order, so you do not need to buy one separately.
Can I take my impression before I decide on a design? Yes. You can buy the DIY Grillz Impression Kit on its own, and its cost can be credited toward a custom grillz order.
