What is a gap bar?
A bar that sits across the gap between the two front teeth. Set with moissanite, it puts a line of light right at the center of the smile, which is where the eye lands first.

What does open face mean on the canines?
The metal frames the tooth and leaves the center open, so your natural tooth shows through the outline.

How long does it take?
4 to 8 weeks from order to delivery depending on the design, with 7 to 10 business days of average production once your impression passes inspection.

Five pieces is an odd number on purpose. The gap bar is the fifth element, and it is what turns a normal open face set into something people ask you about.

How it works

  1. Order and we ship your mold kit.
  2. Take your impression at home with the included putty and trays.
  3. Use the prepaid return mailer included in your kit.
  4. We inspect your impression, then hand build and hand set your grill. Production averages 7 to 10 business days.
  5. Your finished set ships to you. The full process runs 4 to 8 weeks depending on the design.

Fit

Grillz are made to fit each person individually, and designs may differ based on your dental structure. A gap bar depends on your own spacing, so if you are unsure whether your gap suits one, send us a photo first. See our guide to grillz with a gap and our fit policy.

Care

Take them out to eat, drink, and sleep. Clean with a soft brush and mild soap around the stones, dry fully, and store in the case.
