Removes tarnish from silver

I picked this up for heavily tarnished silver necklaces—so black they could almost be mistaken for wrought iron.It took multiple 3-minute soaks to fully remove that extreme degree of tarnish, which suggests it’s working gently. I very much prefer this, especially for pieces with stones.I was surprised to see when I first lifted the jewelry out of the solution, the tarnish looked unchanged, but came off immediately with rinsing or light brushing. I find this an improvement over having the tarnish collect at the bottom of the jar as I’ve seen with other cleaners. While it may be a bit too gentle for excessively heavy tarnish if you’re looking for a quick result, it is an effective, gentle cleaner for normal amounts of silver tarnish, and I think it will make regular maintenance much easier going forward.

Gentle Cleaner That Works Well on Delicate Jewelry

I’m very pleased with this Jewelry Cleaner Liquid. It’s nice to have a cleaning solution that is gentle enough for delicate pieces but still effective at removing everyday buildup and dullness. The included dipping basket and small brush make the process really easy. I was able to place my rings and small pieces in the basket, let them soak briefly, and then lightly brush around settings where dirt tends to collect. My jewelry came out noticeably brighter and cleaner. My wedding ring 💍 is so sparkly! 💎One thing I appreciate is that the formula is safe for multiple metals and gemstones, including gold, silver, platinum, and even more delicate stones like opals and pearls. That gives me peace of mind when cleaning pieces that I don’t want to risk damaging. The solution is simple to use and doesn’t have an overpowering smell, and I like that it’s eco-friendly as well. Overall, this is a convenient and effective jewelry cleaner that makes it easy to keep everyday pieces looking their best.

Easy to use!

This jewelry cleaner is very easy to use and comes with a convenient brush and a tray for lifting items out. It works well on a variety of finishes, including gold, silver, and platinum. While it seems to clean jewelry effectively, I would be cautious using it on dipped or plated pieces, as it may damage them. For solid metals, it does a great job and is simple to operate.Overall, this is a practical and efficient jewelry cleaner that I would recommend for everyday use on durable pieces.

Neutral results with a pleasant scent

I used this to clean a delicate silver bracelet with intricate floral links, hoping to see that signature brilliance return. To be honest, after following the steps, I’m struggling to see a noticeable difference between the "before" and "after." The metal doesn't look particularly revived, and the dullness in the tighter corners of the chain remains. The one major positive is the sensory experience. Most of these cleaners have a harsh, suffocating chemical smell that lingers in the room, but this formula is surprisingly neutral. It’s gentle on the nose and easy to handle. The little dipping basket and brush are practical additions, making the physical process of soaking and scrubbing quite simple, but the actual cleaning power feels underwhelming for something designed for fine jewelry. It’s a safe, "eco-friendly" option, but it might be a bit too mild for pieces that need a real deep clean.

Solid jewelry cleaner kit

The Gold GT Time Jewelry Cleaner is an excellent solution for restoring the shine to your favorite pieces without the worry of harsh chemicals. I tested it on a mix of gold and silver items, and it did a fantastic job of cutting through everyday grime, leaving my jewelry looking refreshed. The "gentle and safe" formula is a huge plus, as it gives me peace of mind when cleaning more delicate platinum or gemstone settings that I’m usually nervous about damaging. I’m giving it four stars instead of five because of it's ease of use and it requires a bit of extra soaking time for pieces with heavier tarnish compared to some of the more aggressive cleaners I’ve used in the past. I also think that packaging is slightly prone to leakage. However, the trade-off is well worth it for a product that is safer for the jewelry and much more pleasant to use without a strong chemical odor. It’s a solid, reliable choice for regular maintenance and keeping your collection looking its best!

All in One Gentle Gold Cleaning Kit

I ordered this jewelry cleaning kit as my jeweler retired a couple of years ago and I have not really been able to find a new one who provided the same care as he did. This kit contains the liquid in an 8 oz jar, as well as a soaking tray and cleaning brush stored right inside the tray handle. I was glad to see this as I was wondering where the accessories were located when I didn't see them in the box. The kit was easy to use and it was nice that the tray and brush were included. I could really see the grime being removed from my jewelry and the shine return. I would advise to have your finest jewelry cleaned by a professional as I would never clean irreplaceable or costly items myself. The 8 oz jar of cleaner and accessories are a bit pricey and will not replace the professional cleaning of a jeweler, however, this will suffice for the time being.

The Ultimate "Sparkle Restore" for Fine Jewelry

When you spend a lot on a piece of jewelry, you want to make sure it keeps its brilliance. This Gold GT Time Jewelry Cleaner is exactly what I was looking for, it's effective enough to cut through grime but gentle enough that I don't worry about damaging my most valued pieces.Unlike some harsh cleaners that use abrasives, this is an eco-friendly solution safe for gold, silver, and platinum. It’s even gentle enough for "problem" stones like opals and pearls, which many other cleaners can ruin. The 8 oz bottle comes with a built-in dipping basket and a soft-bristled brush. The brush is small but durable. The small brush makes it incredibly easy to get into the tiny, hard-to-reach settings where lotion and dust tend to hide.Quick 3-Step Process it only takes a few quick minutes to dip, gently brush, and rinse. It’s a simple at-home routine that restores that "brand new" shine without a trip to the jeweler.I’ve found it works just as well on earrings, necklaces, and bracelets as it does on my rings. It’s a great "one-stop shop" for a whole jewelry collection. If you want a trusted, professional-grade clean at home, this is a fantastic investment. It’s easy to use, safe for delicate gemstones, and brings back the sparkle in minutes.****Amazon Vine Review Disclosure:As an Amazon Vine member, I personally select products to review. Safe and easy to use formula

I’m one of those people who doesn’t take my rings off very often. I know I should for certain tasks, but I usually don’t. The same goes for my earrings. I have triple pierced ears and typically wear diamond studs. Occasionally I’ll swap out the bottom pair for something dangling or a style that better suits my outfit, but otherwise they stay in. A couple of months had passed since the last time I cleaned my jewelry. I normally use a household product, which I know isn’t the best choice, so ordering this GOLD GT TIME Jewelry Cleaner Liquid was long overdue. Using it couldn’t have been much easier. I placed my gold and diamond rings into the included basket and lowered it into the jar. Since they hadn’t been cleaned in a while, I left them soaking for about 10 minutes instead of the recommended 3. That seemed a little more reasonable considering the potential accumulated buildup. The basket is thoughtfully designed with a durable plastic strainer bottom and an integrated handle with a built-in center tube for storing the included cleaning brush. It’s a convenient set up that keeps the brush right there when you need it. The bristles are firm enough to lift the grime yet flexible enough to get around prongs, grooves, and other small details. After a quick rinse under cold water, my rings look noticeably brighter and with a really nice shine. I was so impressed with the results that I immediately took off my earrings and cleaned those next. At first, I was a little worried the strainer holes might be an issue for my smallest earrings, but they didn’t go anywhere. After that, the solution loosened build-up that had likely come from shampoo, conditioner, and other hair products. I was especially happy with how my diamond studs gleamed afterwards. I accidentally got a small amount of the solution on my wooden table and didn’t notice it right away. Fortunately, it didn’t affect the finish at all. The liquid itself is clear and odorless, and it didn’t feel harsh in anyway-just a good quality, safe and easy to use formula. At nearly $25, it’s a little on the pricey side, but it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Everything comes out, looking clean and dazzling, which I’ll happily take. It’s quick and easy, so I can see myself using it more regularly.

Easy Way to Bring Jewelry Back to Life

SOLID– Works on gold, silver, platinum, and most gemstones– Includes dipping basket and small brush for detail cleaning– Simple process — dip, brush if needed, rinse– Gentle formula compared to harsher cleaners– Good for regular maintenance and quick touch-upsSUSPECT– Not for heavily tarnished or heavily soiled pieces– Results depend on how dirty the jewelry is to start– Brush is basic, not super high quality– Need to be careful with very delicate or glued settingsEXPERIENCEThis is one of those “easy win” products. Drop your jewelry in, let it sit, maybe hit it with the brush, rinse it off — and it comes out looking noticeably better. It’s not magic, but for normal buildup and everyday wear grime, it does the job without a lot of effort. The included basket makes it easy to dip smaller pieces without fishing around in the liquid, and the brush helps get into tighter spots. The fact that it’s a gentler formula is nice, especially if you’ve got more delicate pieces. Still, I wouldn’t go wild with anything super fragile or sentimental without testing first.Overall, simple, effective, and low effort.VERDICTSolid Buy – Easy, low-effort way to keep jewelry clean and looking good.PRO TIPDon’t over-soak. Short dips and light brushing are usually enough and safer for delicate pieces.

Spring Cleaning My Silver Jewelry With Mixed Results

As we are knee deep into spring, I thought it was the perfect time to shine up some of my jewelry and give this cleaner a try. The directions were straightforward and easy to follow, no complaints there. However, the recommended 3-minute soak time just wasn't enough to get the job done. Even with additional soaking time, there was still quite a bit of tarnish left behind, which was disappointing. I only tested this on silver, which is apparently harder to clean than gold, so that may be a factor worth keeping in mind. The included brush is a nice touch, but it simply isn't tough enough to tackle stubborn buildup. For lightly soiled pieces it might do the trick, but don't expect miracles on jewelry that needs a deeper clean. I plan to give it another go another day with a longer soak and tougher brush to see if that makes a difference.A couple of practical tips if you decide to try this is to wear gloves and be careful not to spill any of the solution. It has a noticeably "chemically" smell that isn't exactly pleasant, which is a bit surprising for a product marketed as eco-friendly. I wish I knew what the smell was from. Unfortunately the ingredients aren't listed anywhere on the packaging.Overall, it's not a bad product. I did notice my jewelry was shinier and I do appreciate the convenience of the included dipping basket and brush. It just didn't quite live up to my expectations out of the gate. I'll update my review if my next attempt yields better results!

Gentle and effective jewelry cleaning solution

I picked this up to clean my everyday jewelry at home instead of going somewhere to get it done. The process is really simple, just dip, brush if needed, rinse, and you’re done. It only takes a few minutes and makes a noticeable difference. It works well on rings and necklaces, especially ones that start to look dull over time. The solution feels gentle, so I didn’t worry about using it on more delicate pieces. The included basket and brush make it easy to get into small details.Pros are easy to use, gentle formula, and everything you need in one kit. It brings back shine without a lot of effort. One small con is heavily tarnished pieces might need more than one round to look fully clean.Overall, it’s a solid option for regular jewelry care at home. Simple, effective, and worth it if you want to keep your pieces looking fresh without much hassle.

Decent

I'd say this is about the right price point for this product. It's pretty gentle. Definitely non abrasive which is great!Just drop it in the little basket let it sit for a while then brush the jewelry to get the grime out of tough spots. It's a pretty straightforward process.I do wish this was a little bit larger, because I am clumsy and spilled some out. But it cleans nicely. Doesn't seem to be corrosive. It keeps my earrings nice and shiny. I haven't tried it on my rings yet though. They're not worn enough to warrant a cleaning. And if I did clean them, I wouldn't notice a difference. Because they're not dirty enough to notice a difference.I like that this came with a little basket to hold the jewelry in the solution. That makes it super convenient.

so so

It worked perfectly on gold jewelry, but I used it on silver jewelry and it didn't work as I expected; I left the pieces inside for 3 minutes and nothing happened—I even scrubbed them with the brush, and they were still tarnished. I then put baking soda and hot water in a bowl, and they came out silver and clean; this product is useless for silver. On the other hand, I cleaned some gold chains, and it worked perfectly. I'm not sure if I did something wrong or if it is simply intended only for gold.It also caused the stones in the silver jewelry to become dull and the marcasite to fall out of the ring... however, with gold, it was a different story—it worked perfectly well, and the diamonds came out even shinier than before. I recommend it for gold jewelry.I think the price is expensive; you can find it for $4.99 at other stores—either just for gold or just for silver.

Simple and works well!

This jewelry cleaner is really easy to use and does a good job without a lot of effort. I like that it comes with the basket and brush so everything is already included. I just dip, lightly brush if needed, rinse, and it comes out looking clean again. It works well on different pieces and saves me from having to take jewelry somewhere to get cleaned. It’s safe to use daily and makes my old jewelry sparkle again!

Overpriced and no ingredients list

I have mixed feelings about this one because it actually does what it says it will do but it has some major drawbacks that make me hesitate to buy it again. On the one hand the performance is solid as it made my gold, silver and stainless jewelry shiny and it definitely works for its intended purpose which is more than I can say for some other brands I have tried in the past. However it really bothers me that the ingredients aren't listed anywhere on the jar itself. I like to know exactly what I am putting on my expensive jewelry and having to go hunt for a website or a box I already threw away just to see the formula is a huge pain and honestly feels a bit sketchy. The biggest dealbreaker for me though is the cost since it is way too pricey compared to similar products on the market right now. You can find almost the exact same results from competitors for literally half the price so it is hard to justify the splurge here. While I appreciate that the quality is there I just don't think it offers enough unique value to warrant the premium price tag especially with the lack of transparency on the packaging. It is a decent enough choice if you have money to burn and don't care about the fine print but most people would probably be better off looking for a more affordable alternative that is more upfront about what is inside.

Decent product for the money

This jewelry cleaner is fantastic and makes bringing pieces back to life incredibly easy. The formula is gentle yet effective, safely cleaning gold, silver, platinum, and even more delicate pieces without any damage.I love that it comes with a dipping basket and brush—it makes the whole process simple and mess-free. Just a quick soak and light brush, and the shine comes right back. Even items that looked dull and worn came out looking noticeably brighter and refreshed. The fact that it’s safe for porous stones like opals and pearls really sets it apart. It’s nice knowing I can clean a variety of jewelry without worrying about harming more delicate pieces. The eco-friendly formula is another big plus, and it doesn’t have a harsh chemical smell like some other cleaners. Overall, this is an easy-to-use, high-quality solution that delivers great results. Definitely a must-have for keeping your jewelry looking its best!

Tarnished silver may require multiple soaks and brushings.

This kit contains the liquid in an 8 oz jar, along with a soaking tray, and a brush stored inside the tray handle. The process is simple; just dip, brush if needed, rinse. It took multiple 3-minute soaks and brushings to fully remove heavy tarnish from silver. I was dismayed when I first lifted the silver jewelry out of the liquid, because the tarnish looked unchanged, but some did come off with brushing. While it seems to clean solid gold jewelry effectively, I do not recommend using it on plated jewelry, as it may damage them, because plating is very thin. For solid metals, it does a decent job.
