How do you get the fingerprint?
After you order, message us a clear photo of the fingerprint you want engraved. Our engraver works from that image and etches it into the oval plate at the center of the wing.

What if I do not have a fingerprint yet?
Message us before ordering. Funeral homes and hospitals often keep a print on file, and we can tell you what kind of image we need for it to engrave cleanly.

How big is the pendant?
30mm long by 12mm wide, cut from 27 gauge stock which is about 0.69mm thick. It reads as a dainty everyday piece.

Common questions

Is a chain included?
The pendant is listed on its own. Message us and we will match it to a chain in the same metal.

Will the print wear away?
It is engraved into the metal rather than printed on top, so it holds. Deep polishing over many years will soften it, which is normal for any engraved piece.

Can you engrave a name or date on the back?
Usually yes. Send us the wording when you send the print and we will confirm what fits.

Care

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. Keep lotions, perfume, chlorine and household cleaners off the metal. Store it in the gift box or a soft pouch so it does not rub against other pieces.
