I’m one of those people who doesn’t take my rings off very often. I know I should for certain tasks, but I usually don’t. The same goes for my earrings. I have triple pierced ears and typically wear diamond studs. Occasionally I’ll swap out the bottom pair for something dangling or a style that better suits my outfit, but otherwise they stay in. A couple of months had passed since the last time I cleaned my jewelry. I normally use a household product, which I know isn’t the best choice, so ordering this GOLD GT TIME Jewelry Cleaner Liquid was long overdue. Using it couldn’t have been much easier. I placed my gold and diamond rings into the included basket and lowered it into the jar. Since they hadn’t been cleaned in a while, I left them soaking for about 10 minutes instead of the recommended 3. That seemed a little more reasonable considering the potential accumulated buildup. The basket is thoughtfully designed with a durable plastic strainer bottom and an integrated handle with a built-in center tube for storing the included cleaning brush. It’s a convenient set up that keeps the brush right there when you need it. The bristles are firm enough to lift the grime yet flexible enough to get around prongs, grooves, and other small details. After a quick rinse under cold water, my rings look noticeably brighter and with a really nice shine. I was so impressed with the results that I immediately took off my earrings and cleaned those next. At first, I was a little worried the strainer holes might be an issue for my smallest earrings, but they didn’t go anywhere. After that, the solution loosened build-up that had likely come from shampoo, conditioner, and other hair products. I was especially happy with how my diamond studs gleamed afterwards. I accidentally got a small amount of the solution on my wooden table and didn’t notice it right away. Fortunately, it didn’t affect the finish at all. The liquid itself is clear and odorless, and it didn’t feel harsh in anyway-just a good quality, safe and easy to use formula. At nearly $25, it’s a little on the pricey side, but it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Everything comes out, looking clean and dazzling, which I’ll happily take. It’s quick and easy, so I can see myself using it more regularly.
